My Thoughts

Starting with Smeagol.. here we go! Ha, Smeagol and Deagol. Ahhh Deagol got the Ring! And now we care about Smeagol… wow this practical makeup! YES! AMAZING! A STUNNING OPENING WOW. The slipping of practical to CG, flawless. Maybe it’s my MacBook screen.. but this movie looks GOOD. Gandalf.. good grief WOO! SO GOOD. And Sauruman is just dead? Wow. What a death too.. jeez.OH THE MUSICAL SCORE. BLESS THIS SCORE.. WOO!I’m having an absolute blast here…. I just checked the runtime. 4 hours and 23 minutes. DEAR LORD. What has Pippin gotten himself into.. SAURON OH PIPPIN NO. Fool of a Took This movie is making me care for everyone so much: Smeagol and Pippin.. oh Pippin *sad face* Fool-hearty maybe, he’s a Took. GOOD GRIEF THIS MOVIE IS SO GOOD, THIS STORY IS SO GOOD This lighting the fires is pretty cool “GONDOR CALLS FOR AID….. And Rohan will answer” YESSSS (1 hour 15 mins in) And now, of course, I care about Faramir. Well if that’s not the most precarious sleeping arrangements I’ve ever seen. Oh Sam! They will answer to the King of Gondor! That was epic! Pippin's song! Go GANDALF, hit the Steward! This battle is about to be awesome! Go Pippin! Spiders! Galadriel! The Spider has stabbed Frodo, oh no! But Sam is here! He's not dead Sam. Is Faramir dead? How does Pippin know? That flaming sword is incredible! Gandalf's staff! THE SWORDS ON THE SPEARS AHHHHHH! I WANT TO GO TO WAR! DEATH! What an incredible movie. OH NO GOLLUM!! NOOOO!

A lot of yelling about Lord of the Rings

I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH WITHOUT A DOUBT MY FAVORITE OF ALL, is there literally anything better than Lord of the Rings?! OH MY GOODNESS! THE EAGLES! What is happening.... GOLLUM OH MY GOODNESS AHHH WHAT IS HAPPENING! FRODO'S FINGER NO! PUSH GOLLUM SAM, HE'S SO CLOSE, PUSH HIM NOW! WHERE DID FRODO FALL?! GOLLUM DEAD, GOOD. FRODO HOLD ON! Mount Doom is collapsing.

THIS MOVIE IS SO LONG

This battle is over (180 minutes in) and I just realized there is still 80 minutes left.. wow. I had nearly forgotten about Frodo.. But now, we are about to fight the land of Mordor (200 minutes in - 60 minutes to go!)! Thought it was over.. nope still (40 minutes left).. The Eagles! "My friends, you bow to no one.." CRYING. IS FRODO GOING TO DIE?! DEAR LORD I HAVE COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT THAT IF THAT IS TRUE!!! WOW.

Pippin is the Man!

Pippin was so good this movie.

Smeagol

I tried to care for Smeagol, and I'm sure that's what we were supposed to feel.

Sam

Sam is always my favorite. Sam is so good in this movie, he never disappoints. SAM IS SO GOOD. "I CAN'T CARRY IT FOR YOU, BUT I CAN CARRY YOU" AHHHH I'M CRYING! Sam finally got Rosie yay!

Denethor and Faramir

Faramir had such a good redemption arch is this movie. I hated him in the Two Towers, because he beat up Smeagol and wanted to get Frodo killed just to take the Ring. But, his father, who thankfully was burned alive, was stopped before Faramir was also burned alive.

Eowyn

YEP! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE CHARACTER. Killing the Nazgul's dragon. And then the Nazgul! "I AM NO MAN"

Gimli

Always a favorite.

Aragorn

Aragorn is the best. But who has his heart?! THE RIGHTFUL KING ARAGORN. Arwen still alive.. YES!

The Orcs

The Orcs are so much better than the Two Towers. There wasn't as much talking and that's the best it can be! I might've spoken too soon, the orcs are talking again. But now they aren't talking much, so it's okay.
