Ellie around a fire

YES! This show, first off, is beautiful. This episode, is a good episode! Gotta move the story along and this has done a great job at that! I loved the characters in the beginning, they were funny and what a great scene.
I sometimes struggle with episodes that come out weekly - considering this series. Sometimes I just want all at once, and I lose a bit of interest if not every episode is outstanding. I love this show, and I really love the story - I'll keep updated as we get close to the end of the season.
He's alive and he's here! However, I think Tommy is lying! Also, Tommy is going to be a dad, that's nice.
I really like this Tommy portrayal, and he is a great brother for Joel here. I like the community that he's setup and it seems safe.
"A bad reputation doesn't mean you're always bad.. not always, at least." This was a great line!
"She's alright, she's fine." That's interesting why Joel isn't telling Tommy all things.
Tommy and Joel
My first thought was a panic attack, but we've heard from Joel that it is his heart - uh oh. Also, "come dawn, we're going our seperate ways.. no you aren't.".
Joel
Wow, this is just a great adaptation of the game, FOR SURE. So much of this new way to see the story and small nods to the game and other that are more big nods. Also, I can clearly see Ellie loves Joel and Joel loves Ellie.
Okay, I liked that scene.. Ellie will be needing to know about these things soon, and this is a bit of a reusable option.
A great scene, wow. These are just a great bit of scenes put together - I like this episode. And Joel's "don't" and "you have no idea what loss is". and Ellie "don't tell me that I'd be safe with anyone else, because I'd just be more scared without you".
THIS IS SCARY. I am terrified of just one infected showing up to kill all those kids - but that could be from all that Walking Dead I've seen. A little PTSD from before.
Ellie and Joel
I love their chemistry!
HOLY COW, I did not expect that, wow. Also, the neck snap by Joel - yeesh. And now... Ellie just let it all out "Joel, I can't do this without you".
Joel Passed Out
Here we go, I really enjoyed the next parts of the game - let's see how that plays out here.
OH WHOA - LEFT BEHIND?! So, there is a bit of a Last of Us Prequel smaller game called Last of Us: Left Behind and it's about Ellie and her friend Riley.. and it looks like that is what's the next episode.
I'm trying a new way of reviewing, by implementing a new way to review - using a format taken from 2toRamble! And that’s the system! Rate those 5 categories out of 10, average your score, and that’s your /10 Rambler Rating! You can rate each category to the nearest hundredth, tenth, whole number, or whatever you please.
Okay, so this episode went through a lot - and it was GOOD! Let's get into the scores. A 4.8 out of this episode.. beautiful.
