Written Review

This is an incredible show. These are incredible actors. This is an incredible world. I love it so much, I'm so happy this is finally a reality.

This episode was exceptional, and not in any big way - just an amazing showing of these two characters that we're growing to love. Joel and Ellie are together, alone, and are trying to survive and it's beautiful.

Ellie

Was this Ellie's breakout episode? Perhaps. We saw a lot of Ellie in this episode. Her humor and her shooting someone. Wow, that was a lot for Ellie, but man, she's so good. I really am enjoying her character in the show, I loved her in the game, but Bella Ramsey is doing an incredible job here.

These People

Kathleen and Perry and their crew, they are some bad people. But there was one thing that caught me off guard, this Perry character... I heard his voice and thought "is this Tommy?". Because.... Perry's actor Jeffrey Pierce was the voice of Tommy in the games, so I thought this was Tommy after so many years, but not so.

Sam and Henry!

There are some characters in the game that everyone whose played the games know, and at least two of those characters are Sam and Henry. And, we get a cliffhanger ending here of... none other than, Sam and Henry! I'm so excited to see what happens next!

The World is AMAZING

I'm really happy with how the world looks, and it is a great adaptation for sure.
